Needlepoint Newbie- Plane on Green

If you have ever wanted to learn to needlepoint, this is your class! Come find out why needlepoint is the latest craze. You will learn to thread a needle, find out what basketweave is all about and finally realize why your friends are all obsessed with stitching! Janeann Sleeman will be here to teach you the basics, 3 stitches, how to strand threads and lots more! This is a 3 hour class, that incudes all materials, including a 13 mesh canvas painted by our very own Garnett, specifically for this class!

Stefanie Chase, of The Joy of Needlepoint, will be here August 8th from 10am- 3pm, with an exclusive Kristine Kingston canvas. This class will focus on creating unique decorative stitches for each of Santa’s beards, along with specialty stitches for the hat. Your kit will include all threads needed for these featured areas. The remaining elements of this charming canvas will not be stitched in class, but will be thoughtfully discussed, and you’ll receive a guide outlining options for completing those areas on your own.
